Kingdom Life: Will We Love It or List It?

Home fix-it TV shows are popular these days. One concept in particular is when one person decides that making structural changes will cause them to love their home or the other person decides that a “for sale” sign will provide a new opportunity. Spiritually, there’s a “love it or list it” principle that helps us identify our Kingdom walk. Does our life have joy, peace and victory or are our hearts rooted in sin? Jesus said, “thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind...thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (Matt. 22:37-39). Who’s handling the renovations in our lives?
We can either love life (love God, love ourselves & love others because we know the One who’s power gives us Kingdom life) or we can list life (be unsatisfied, indebted to the things of this world & devalue ourselves.) Words matter. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Prov. 18:21).
Why choose life? LOVE. God is our master builder and Jesus is the architect. We are made in His image and His love defeats the enemy. Understand that the antichrist wants us to list things against God in all kinds of ways, but there is only One Way to love the Kingdom Life. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (Jn 14:6)

Recall the certain woman with an issue of blood for 12 years, having spent all she had, going to many physicians and she still got worse. Yet, she spoke up for her life; she spoke life (Truth), “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” (Study Mark 5:25-36.) When we truly love God and allow His love to work in us, we can help build a better place, a better nation, a better world – a better life. We’ll have Kingdom LOL: Love Out Loud!
We’re only renovated by repentance. In Christ, we can tear down stubborn walls and old habits, (e.g. jealousy, greed, pride). Then we can love life with an open floor plan; transparent for the Spirit of God to have reign. Let’s Love It and Live It! A Kingdom Life full of potential, unhindered by fear and unbelief. “But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.” (Deut. 40:13) There’s always hope when we obey the voice of God.
